Jim was a great friend and mentor. When he was in town every Tuesday night we would meet fir dinner at Steak and Ale with Caddo Wright for what he called “Good Ol’ Boys”. Per his insistence we drank Glen Livet and Chataneauf-du-Pape with our meal. The stories told by Jim and Casso have a special place in my heart. Jim was a great mentor and supporter during my early years of practice in Lubbock. I am deeply saddened at his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
