James Murtha Obituary

In loving memory of James Derrick Murtha, age 56, survived by his parents James and Charlotte Murtha, sisters Gayle Murtha Nevin and Michelle Murtha Guenther and extended family. Jim was born on May 3, 1956 and had the opportunity to study, work and travel throughout the world extensively during his lifetime. Those fortunate enough to know Jim will treasure memories of his infectious humor, charismatic nature and sharp intellect. His passing in August 2012 leaves an empty place in the hearts of his family and friends. Godspeed, Jim, we miss you and will always love you. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jim Murtha to Second Chance Animal Rescue Foundation, P.O. Box 44, Lamar, Colorado 81052. Gayle, I'm so sorry to read about Jim's passing. I remember he was so good with science fair projects and won so many awards, giving Palmer High a great reputation.

Haven't seen you in about 20 years since Hugh Martin's funeral, I think it was. You're in my thoughts.
