James Nelson Obituary
James Mason Nelson was born on March 13, 1961 in San Mateo, California to James Lawrence Chapel, Jr. and Geraldine Virginia (Webb) Nelson. He graduated from Doherty High School in Colorado Springs. Jim later married Jeanette Spoto and had two sons. His second marriage was to Gina Renee Giles on June 2, 2002 in Colorado Springs.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors of Colorado. He had a respect for nature and was very aware of the cycles of life. He also had a deep respect for his family and friends. He will be best remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit.
He is survived by his wife, Gina; and his sons, Doug (Katie) Nelson of Colorado Springs and Shawn (Tina) Nelson of Rifle, Colorado. He is also survived by his brother, Pete Nelson; his sisters, Patricia Rucker and Brandi Nelson; his mother, Geraldine Webb; and his former wife, Jeanette Spoto. James has four wonderful grandchildren, Kylee, Ashlyn, Patrick and Lily.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday at the family's home.

Gina and boys,
I was shocked this morning and so sad to hear that Jim has passed. Esp at such a young age. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jim and Hamilton Std/UTCM. He was a very nich person.
