My heartfelt condolence written here,
For you and Jim's family, all so dear.

Your sparkling personality and smile,
Sure helped Jim,even sick for a while.
No one could ever have a better wife,
you're strong in good times and strife.
I am ever grateful I traveled there,
to spend a time with you, and share.

Dear Barb,
I returned from visiting my son in Australia today to read in the Gazette about your dear Jim's passing. I am so sorry, and my thoughts and prayers are with and for you. Your 53 years together is most remarkable in these times and serve as a loving example for all of us and as a blessing to your family. It is through the Manitou High School reunions I was able to reconnect with the two of you, and all of us who graduated from M.H.S. have benefited from the time and effort Jim put forth to develop and maintain a community of graduates that endures, as will Jim’s memory among us.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Dear Barb and Sid and the whole Nichols family,
We love you and are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Jim was such a sweet, quite soul, his physical presence will be greatly missed but I'm sure we'll all feel him still around for years to come. My boys adored him and he was always so kind to them. What a Great Uncle!
Don't forget to call if you need help with anything,
Jenni

Barb,
Jim will certainly be missed by all who knew him. Having lived a couple houses down from his family all our young lives, we will remember his good
nature and ready smile for everyone. He
fought so hard and now he is at peace.
You were right beside him during all his illness. Our heartfelt sympathy to
you, and your family.
