I remember the first day I met you, you took me in as your own. I remember going over there for Joe's cooking and your jokes. You were always the one to keep me rollin with your mad amusement and crazy stories. You stay high up there Jimmy, i miss you and I will see you soon.

I remember when I saw you and your mom in Wal-Mart not too long ago. The natural thing to do would have been to give you, my childhood friend, a big hug. Instead, I shyed away and let the moment pass--not realizing I would never see you again this side of heaven. This is my I.O.U. that when I see you again in heaven, I will give you that big hug that I should have given you that day.
