Your son was always there to talk to me during the " rainy days" of our deployment.
I was hit hard by his departure, specially since i talked to him a couple hour earlier that night.
When i have a hard time i always think about him.
Just want to let you know he was really special for a lot of soldiers at his workplace.

James,
I miss you brother. Some of my best memories from high school have you in them... I will never forget that time with Felicity Timm and a few others in the ROTC room singing Mambo Number 5 and goofing around. Oh man to be a kid again. It is hard to believe that time is going by so fast. We are approaching our ten year reunion this up coming year. I'll make sure that you are remembered well my friend. In other news, I just got selected to fly helicopters for the Army. I'll think of you when I'm up there in the skies. All the best my friend, you are in my prayers today.

I used to be your battle buddy during our 91W Combat Medics Course at Fort Sam Houston. You and I used to hang out and share stories, the good and the bad, and everything in between. You were the best person that I knew in the company. Your smile brighten up my day, even if it was my fireguard day. James, I am in med school now, and I will strive to be the best doctor that I can in your memory... your buddy Van

The Wind on The Downs
“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”
(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )
Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….
“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”
I did not know James, but I am remembering
his service. He is my hero. !

The Other Side
i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.
can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.
i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.
it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side
the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON (KIA on 07/06/07) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.
REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

“Soldier”
Written to Honor the Service of Our Fallen Soldiers
Soldiers write history, we pay the price
Many miles distant, you live the life
Entered the Battle of our own free will
Out of Duty for Country, and we’d do it still
We hope and pray that all will find peace
In God, in the flag, in memories of valor
Gone now, our pride and courage you see
“An Army of One” our motto forever
Willing to risk all for love of our Brothers
We’re still Your Soldiers…and we showed the way
Our Lives too short, now pray for the others
Lived free died Heroes in lands far away
Deep within souls all cherished our Service
We’ll always have what some never know
Courage and Honor, our names forever
Lived life with purpose…just our time to go
We march in the Heavens with Honor and Glory
Missions accomplished we fought the Good Fight
Many years from now…we’ll tell the full story
Until that Day we will live in the Light
Our lives we laid down in a land far away
Still watching o’er you this night and by day
No need to talk…just know we are with you
There in your hearts and we hear what you pray
Yes we are your soldiers
Our lives we laid down
Still We guard o’er you
Still Duty bound
Entered the Battle of our own free will
Out of Duty for Country, and we’d do it still
We’ll always have what some never know
Lived life with purpose…it was our time to go

I dont think any of us will have the 'right' words to say, because nothing will express what an amazing person you were. Trevor and I will always hold you in our hearts and memories, you will always be our hero. Some people come and go into our lives, some are here to stay forever...even though you are in heaven, you will be forever in our lives. I promise that I will raise Trevor to be the best man that he can be, and that you will always be his hero. You were an amazing man, and I am thankful that I have known you for so long and that you are Trevor's father. Until we meet again.

SGT James Worster was a great asset to the team in the EMT section of the 10th Combat Support Hospital. He surely kept the morale up by always smiling with a grin from ear to ear. We could have just finished the most gruesome of trauma resuscitations or MASCALs, and he would find something positive to say about how we worked together as a team doing the best we could for those injured. I carry-on these days toting a small piece of James' positive attitude everywhere I go.

Donna and family,
I was again just looking up Jimmy's name on the internet and came accross this. What a beautiful place to say what is in all of our hearts, the sorrow and pain of losing a life so young. A young man whose journey ended long before it truly even began. I know that the end of this journey only begins the next journey, and that with his father in his fathers house he will go on his greatest journey of all. His adventures aren't over yet, not by a long shot. When the time came for God to need a good soldier in heaven he called Jimmy home. His mission here is not finished yet either. Whenever you feel that tiny breeze on your face it could be him brushing your face with his hands, or pushing back your hair, etc. I believe that this life is still a part of the next, and that the ones that we love who pass over before us, are indeed watching over us and making sure that we are safe, and if, in fact, we are not safe, they make the passage for us much easier when our time arrives. I wonder if his aunt Cindy, cousin Duke and Grandpa John weren't there to greet him and to hold his hand as he entered the kingdom. God bless all of you and keep you safe. God bless you, Jimmy, a fine soldier and a wonderful nephew.

Jimmy, Thank You. Thank you for always being a kind caring person with a huge loving heart. Your Auntie Abbie will love you for ever.
Jimmy was an honest, loving, funny, honorable young man who touched my life, and the lives of my little girls who liked to jump all over him and say "Cousin James is a Hottie!" Also a good fishing buddy for Papa. Finally, a fine soldier who gave his all to take care of his soldiers and to keep up the spirits of those he came into contact with everyday.
We love you Jimmy.
Love always, Auntie Abbie, Uncle Nick, Charlie, Falon, and Blossom

From the first day I met James I knew he was a very confident, gentle young man. Eventhough, I think he was only 5 at the time, he wasn't a little boy. He was always protecting his mom. I guest when he was satisfied that mom was taken care of he decided to take care of the rest of us.
James always had a very respectful way about him and he always made me feel important. During our visit to Alaska, he made time in his schedule just for us, unlike most teens. I could feel his love and enjoyed his laughter.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your life, James, and for leaving your smile in my heart so I can remember your gentleness.
Heavenly Father, please comfort all who read these words. Let them know that you have called our dear James home to your side to serve You now.
with love, "Aunt Vicki"

Although it had been some time since we've actually seen each other, I really looked forward to getting together and sharing our experiences. I am proud of the fact that my "Cousin Jimmy" served our great country, as I know first hand the courage, commitment, and sacrifices made by all of our troops every day. I am honored to have known James, His amazing son, who is just a spitting image of him, Trevor, And of course is great family in Alaksa.
I have so many memories of James, that I will always cherish, and let him live on through that.
"Lives sometimes end too shortly, with no reason, or explanation, and we are left with memories that last forever"
James and I became close through a hobby of ours, cars, and racing. We had idential cars, and both loved to go to the track and be competitive, and no matter how much he tried to do better than I did. I always out raced him, I was just the better driver. It took him a whole season just to realise that, but he admitted finally, I was a better driver.
When he left for his second deployment this year, Racing wasn't the same, I didn't go as much, and told him all the time, that when he got home we'd go tear up the track again next season. It wasn't the same with out him, it won't ever be the same now.
My heart goes out to all that are hurting, I truly feel it as well.
The service was beautiful, and very well put together.
I wish the best for his family, friends, and all that cared so much about him.
He was one of the greatest people I've ever met, and I'm sorry for all of those who didn't have a chance to meet him, he brought so much to everyone he met. It was just amazing to see someone with that much compassion and heart.
I miss you James, nothing will be the same with out you. "Always alive in our hearts, Keep racing on"
