James Sandmore Obituary

Cripple Creek, Colorado

Passed away at his home.

Jim is survived by: His loving partner Barbara Looze; first wife Ann Sandmore; 3 children, Janelle Walter, James Sandmore and Kristan Martell. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and sister Mary Lou Kane. Also, last but not least, other extended family members and several dear friends.

Jim was retired from U.S.A.F. and Civil Service. He was an avid outdoors enthusiast and "tinkered" in numerous hobbies. He loved dogs, music, dance, books, among other things. He was passionate about protecting our wildlife and the environment. He had a fabulous memory and sought out information that he could share. He enjoyed visiting with friends, acquaintances and anyone he met along his path, who were fortunate enough to hear one of Jim's stories. He was known for his humor and quick wit. Jim was well known as an altruistically generous man doing goodwill without need for recognition. He will be missed dearly.
