Sending our love and deepest sympathies to all the VanHorn family. We have fun memories of tailgating with not only Jay, but all of the fun VanHorn Bronco fans. He always made us feel welcome and part of the family - the host with the most!

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Jay's family and friends. I purchased his red 1988 F350 years ago, so that is the only way I know him. He was a very generous and friendly gentleman.

My Dear Jay
The Lord saw you getting tired suffering so, in so much pain.
So HE came down and took him by the hand and said I have a place waiting for you in Paradise for eternity.
Jay fought the fight and finished the race!!
Jay was a loveing, generous, caring, awesome, young man.
He was always there to give a helping hand to anyone that needed help.
You would ask anyone if they knew Jay and everyone had a story to tell.
Jays legacy will never die !!!
He will be dearly missed!
He's last words were I will see you on the other side!!
Love you baby brother

Jay was an amazing person both professionally and personally. I will always remember his laugh and his kind heart. I still cannot believe you have passed on.
Jay will forever be one of the greatest people I had a pleasure of knowing. Thank you for the laughs, your smile, your kindness, your listening ear, but mostly for the wonderful memories. May you rest in peace.

My heart is so broken. Jay and his family have been a part of our lives well over 30 years. I have some of the best memories of Jay and they will be held in my heart for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace Jay and I hope you're playing cards with your brother and your dad with your mom looking over your shoulder.
Laura & family, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Dee Brinton
