James Walker Obituary

James Lee Walker, a Colorado resident since 1968, passed from this life into the waiting arms of his Savior and beloved parents on October 10, 2013 after a year-long courageous battle with lung cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sherri Lucille; his three children Wendy (Daubert), Vaughn, and Joshua; his son-in-law Todd (Daubert); his daughter-in-law Lauren (Blazis) Walker, granddaughters Jessica, Madeleine, and Elsie, and grandsons Zachary, Walter, Jude and Jonas.

We were all truly blessed to have him as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 26, at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Asian Bread of Life. Due to severe allergies to roses please refrain from providing these for the family. We appreciate your understanding.
