James L. Weber, 71, left for Heaven on Nov. 20, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, CO, and graduated from Palmer High School in 1971. He was a talented mechanic who retired from the City of Colorado Springs, Fleet Management, as a Fleet Management Supervisor in 2008.
James was born in Colorado Springs, CO, to James and Catherine (Crain) Weber on July 20, 1953. On July 3, 1989, he married Saundra "Sam" Jones in Las Vegas, NV.
James was fond of fishing and boating at Blue Mesa Reservoir in Gunnison, CO, and watching and participating in racing at Pikes Peak Speedway, east of Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sam; his daughter, Heather Huddleston; his grandchildren: Star, Sybastyn and Skylar Huddleston; his siblings: Mary Catherine Marshall, Garry (Amy) Podoll, Steve (Lisa) Podoll, Bobby (Linda) Podoll, and Michelle Podoll; his brother-in-law, Louis "Pete" (Wendy) Jones; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
James will rest at his favorite fishing hole. Happy Fishing!
