Dad,
I was up and thinking about you. I miss you a bunch and need a good word right now. The older I got the better your advice made sense. When I was young and some times older, it might not have been what I wanted to hear, but the right advice. As you would say it.

LOVE YA MAN!

As a vendor for USAA I would meet with James regularly. His gracious and kind demeanor alway left me feeling lightened and happy. He'd call me "kind sir" on the phone, which was a trade mark I'll always fondly remember.

I've been working with James since his start at USAA and will cherish the many fond memories we have shared through the years. It is nearing that magical time of year, when the "child" always came out in James. He loved buying gifts for Jackie and his family. He spent countless hours during his lunch hours, purchasing just the right gifts for Christmas and hiding them at the office until it was time to place under the tree. He will be missed. My heart reaches out to Jackie and his family.
