You were the best-I remember helping and holding while you sewed an injured horse back together at our place in Cripple Creek. And the night you met me at 11 p.m. to help put to rest our dog Buddy...your kindness and compassion for him, and for me, evident. Loved the ease of having your as our home vet, our 'go to' country doctor, who'd always show up as soon as you could. Say hi to Dennis, he always thought the world of you. Good journey Doc.

Dr. Wright came to our home and took care of our Border Collie when no one else would help us and we were not regular patients. His kindness will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

My favorite memory was when he came to stitch up a goat who had been attacked by a bear. It started to rain and he sat on a cinder block with me leaning over his shoulders with an umbrella so he would not get soaked and could do his work.

Jim has been our "go-to" Vet since we moved here over 7 years ago. He has cared for our dog and our cats with Great professionalism. One memory stands out above all others. It was a Sunday afternoon when our dog Shayla got attacked by a neighborhood dog and sustained a large gash in her side and was in great pain. We made a call to Doc Wright via his mobile phone, and he did not hesitate to answer and have us bring her in to do what he knew best to do. It wasn´t until midnight when he was done with cleaning the wound and stitched her back up. I can still remember receiving his call telling me that he was done and we could come by and pick her up, even though it was 2 in the morning. He had fallen asleep on the couch but was there to welcome me to pick up our Shayla. I will forever remember his compassion, his Loving heart, his sense of humor, and his professionalism. James Wright truly Loved what he did. He will be missed by us all. We Thank You and our Animals Thank You. RIP James Wright, DVM.
