James Calvin Wyatt was born September 25, 1941 in Talladega, Alabama to parents Jessie Mae (Trammel) and John H. Wyatt, and he went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Daniel Syfrett officiating. Interment will follow in Willis Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Conroe Funeral Directors. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Joe Wyatt; sister, Mary Marie Miles; brother, Houston Wyatt; brother-in-law, Bud Lathrop; and sister, Loreen Hostler. James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Hoyt Wyatt, his daughter, Kimberly Irene Wright and her husband, Chris, his son, James E. Wyatt and his wife, Jeanie; his grandchildren, Cody James Wyatt, Lauren Nicole Wyatt, James Casey Wyatt, Bethany Ann Wright, Angelina Wright, brother John Howard Wyatt, sister Mary Ellen Lathrop, sister Linda Sue Young, and numerous other relatives and friends. James was devoted to his wife Elizabeth and loved his family. James was an active member of the Painters Allied Trade Union where he worked in the trade for over 39 years, he retired in 1999. James loved the outdoors especially working in his garden and driving his tractor. He was loved and will be dearly missed. Pallbearers will be Cody James Wyatt, James Casey Wyatt, Mark Eugene Mills, Randy Rogers, Donald Rogers and Ethan Diver. Honorary Pallbearers will be W.A. Miles, Billy Hoyt, and Danny Hoyt.

J.C. was a great person. I always enjoyed spending times with him at the shows and talking about the cows. My kids thought of him as their other pawpaw too. He will me be missed.
