Jack Perkins said it all. Even though I had limited contact with Jamie, he was always so willing to help with any questions. He felt like a friend to me. May the Lord comfort you as only He can.

Like several others that have sent their condolences I found out about Jamie dying through a note from Schwab. You can be sure that for every note like this that you receive there are at least an additional hundred people who share these thoughts but did not know this book existed.
I too only knew Jamie through phone contacts that occurred maybe twice a year. With that minimal contact his personality, willingness to help and competence came through. I don't know that I have ever felt so sad on hearing of the death of someone that I have had such little contact with. I can only imagine the sadness and grief of those closest to him.
Jamie and his family will be in our prayers.

Having worked with Jamie over they years as Schwab clients, we felt we'd come to know Jamie. All contact with him was positive.
The last contact, I believe, was in December. He mentioned his family in a way that spoke to how greatly they were valued by him. The only contact with Jamie was by phone. We never met him in person. It was enough, though, to learn that he was a lovely and considerate person. He was very helpful to us, too.
We offer Jamie's family and friends our heartfelt sympathy.
Sincerely,

I'm a former coworker of Jamie's at Invesco back in 1995 and 1996. Jamie played on my pool team that was made up of other Invesco employees at that time: Fred Carino, Barry Howsden and Sandy Yanushka. Jamies was a very delightful person with a great sense of humor. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
