Jane White Obituary

Jane M. White January 22, 1915-May 1, 2006. Jane M. White 91, of Missoula, MT passed away May 1, 2006 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1915 in Dayton, OH., to Flora May Sandoe and Frank Dudley McKinney. Jane earned her BS degree in English from Miami University in Oxford, OH and taught junior high school. On October 28, 1942 she was married to Bernard C. White, and together they moved to Colorado Springs in 1948 where she resided until 1999 when she moved to Missoula to be with her daughter. Jane was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority, she enjoyed traveling and gardening in her younger years. Jane was loved by all who knew her. She is remembered for her caring way and her love for flowers and animals, she enjoyed travel and seeing new places. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard White; daughters: Barbara White and Virginia E. "Jinger" White. Survivors include daughter, Susan White of Missoula; nephews: Warren White, Tucson, AZ., Wesley White of Grand Rapids, MI., Kenneth White of Lowell, MI.; great nephews: Mike Wheeling of Williamsburg, VA, Mathew Wheeling of West Palm Beach, FL, George Wheeling of West Palm Beach, FL.; great niece, Diana Schnabel of Rockville, MD.; and sister in law Pia White of Tucson, AZ., Memorial Services will be held at a later date this summer at Broadmoor Community Church in Colorado Springs, CO. The family requests memorials be made in Jane's name to the Missoula Humane Society.
