Janet M. Hoover Obituary
A celebration of Janet's life will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 10 AM with Dr. Tom Trinidad officiating.
Janet was born in Huntington, Indiana to Foster and Lilly Shultz and attended Huntington High School. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking (especially pies and her homemade macaroni and cheese), board games, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband James M. Hoover, daughter Jody L. Hoover, parents, three sisters: Phyllis Plew, Wilma Dane, and Gladys Thurston.
Janet is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael J. and Eliani Hoover of Colorado Springs, sisters Mabel Carpenter, Margaret Poppy, Maxine Richardson and brother's Charles and Wayne Shultz. Grandchildren Sean M. Hoover and Chel Hoover of Cape Coral, Florida, Katie-Ann Hoover of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Emily Hoover of Portland, Oregon and five great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Pikes Peak Hospice and Pallitative Care for their support in her final days.
