To my beloved nephews John and Duane I never knew how very much I would still miss my beautiful beloved twin. She was the best friend one could ever have and I got a bonus because she was my "wombmate"...I will always love her .

Mom, I just had to tell you Happy Birthday. I know I did not give you much throughout your life but you always knew I love you and no matter where I was I would always tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

January 10, 2011

Oh Mom; here we are again. Another year has passed and you still never leave my thoughts. I know that you watch over and protect me still...

January 7, 2010

Well...it has been three long years since I lost my mother. Some days it feels as though you are just one phone call away, one of my desparate late night calls to help me and other days it feels as if you have been gone for decades.

I know you did not leave me voluntarily or entirely. I know that when I am being silly it is your hand that hits me in the back of the head to knock some sense into me.

I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel your presence everyday at Mitchell Hall. I'm alway telling John I know your mother is watching us work together. it would have been great for you to see John working in the kitchen. He does a great job! I miss you but will always keep you in my heart.

I cannot bekieve it will be three years in about 1 month. Someone said that mom looks down and smiles when she sees her son in the same kitchen she worked in for so many years; I know she is laughing....

Well, it has been a year since my mother left this world. What a terrible year it has been!! Full of loss.
As expected, I miss you every day!!! I was so used to seeing you every other if not every day. I miss sharing my life with you. I miss getting your input on whatever was troubling or bothering me. I miss just sharing my days with you.
Somedays, it feels as if you just left; other days, it feels as if you have been gone for years.
I will always love and miss you but you have never left my heart!!!
Love,
John

To all Janice's loved ones,
My deepest sympathy to the all of you. Although I hadn't seen Cousin Janice in many years I did have the privelege of corresponding with her by e-mail and felt like I still knew her well. Yes, she was a wonderful mother, companion, sister, grandmother, friend and cousin.
May God be with you all in this sad time and may the wonderful memories you have of Janice make the grief more bearable. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
