Patrick, it was heartbreaking to hear of the loss of Janine. Life is often too short but I know you will find a way to keep her in your heart through all of the great memories I'm sure that you have. Take care and I hope our paths will cross again sometime in the future.

Janine, I met you in school when we were 13 and you quickly became one of my best friends. You were kind, loving, talented and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss you tremendously but I know I will see you someday on the other side. Until then, goodbye dear friend.

Janine, our friendship is a long one - going back to 4th grade. You were my first friend in class and we spent a lot of time together, usually talking in class or laughing our heads off. I will miss your occasional snail mail notes and emails. Your life was rich and rewarding, both for you and the other lucky people who knew you. We will all miss you terribly and your passing has made my world a much smaller place. You were funny, beautiful, skilled, talented, and so many other things but above all you were my friend and I will not know another like you. Rest easy, dear, and know I think of you with love. Till we meet again.
