Javin Urban Obituary

Jay was born on February 6, 1968, in Wurzburg, Germany to Jerry Urban and Judee Albert. He grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and attended Doherty High School. He was active in sports and band.

Jay was an amazing craftsman. He owned and operated more than one company in his life, most recently Elite Woodworks and Design. He contributed to many projects across the state of Colorado from high volume apartments to custom jobs in Breckenridge and Vail. He worked many times on the Broadmoor including the Brownstones and the West Tower renovation. He was especially proud of his work on the restaurant, bar and lobby. He was working on a project in Greely, Colorado when he left us way too soon.

Jay was very much a family man who loved his wife, his children and his many friends. He was always there to help when help was needed. He loved life. His laughter was contagious and he always had a smile. He loved snowboarding, camping and traveling. We are all blessed with so many memories that we will always carry with us.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Seyer, son, Nicholaus, and daughters Vanessa and Hailey. He is also survived by his parents, Jerry Urban (Vickie), Judee Albert (Bob), his brother, Jason Urban and step brothers Brett Albert (Autumn) and David Albert (Tracy).

Services will be held 11am Tuesday, May 26 at the Cappadona Funeral Home Chapel with a reception to follow at Johnny's Navajo Hogan.
