Jayne E. Ahern Obituary

Jayne E. Ahern, age 85 of Colorado Springs died April 21, 2013. Jayne was preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable Judge John J. "Jack" Ahern Sr., daughter Jeanette, grandson John III "Jay," sister Charlotte Petkovsek and parents Lawson Sennett and Ethel Sennett Yanchus. Loving mother of Ellen, John Jr. (Janina), Brian (Patricia), Marge Thibault (Roger) and Mary Beth. Grandmother of nine including Kate, Katrina Panizo (Patrick), Dan, and to Michelle, Julia, Andrew, David and Brian Thibault, great-grandmother to Sean Panizo, and loving aunt to many. A long-time Chicago resident, Jayne moved to Colorado Springs in 1996. She loved nature and the beauty of Pikes Peak and enjoyed being outside. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance Vista Grande Chapel, 5460 North Union Boulevard.
