He retired as a Major from the United States Air Force Reserves after 37 years of service. A lifelong farmer, David also retired as Post Master of West Alexandria, Ohio, in 1978. Most recently, he attended the Historic Hopewell Church near Oxford, Ohio. David was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosemary, in 1966; his first wife and mother of his children, Barbara Miller Williams, in 1983; and his second wife, Alice Krauth Williams, in 2010. David is survived by his daughter, Diana, and her husband, Mark Runyon, who have made their home with him the past two years; his grandson, Ryan, and his wife, Lashawnda Runyon, of Englewood, Ohio; his grandson, Adam Runyon, of Union, Ohio; his great grandson, Payton Runyon, of Englewood, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to Natalie, Ryann, Nicole, and Tara of Advancing Simplicity, Richmond, Indiana, for the wonderful, loving care they have given David for the past year. The family would also like to thank Reid Hospice, Richmond, Indiana, and staff for their help and guidance in David's care, especially Marge and Virginia. No funeral services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being made by Lindloff- Zimmerman Funeral Home in West Alexandria, Ohio. David will be buried at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio. The family wishes that any memorial donations in David's name be made to the Hospice of your choice; Help the Animals of Richmond, Indiana; Salem Lutheran Church of West Alexandria, Ohio; or Hopewell Church of Oxford, Ohio.

Diana, my thought and prayer go out to you at this sad time. I knew your Dad for many years and I always enjoyed talking with him at the auctions and at the Texas Roadhouse. I have missed you all not being there on Saturdays when I came to work. Great Picture.. My God Be with you and your family.
