Born and raised in Iowa, Jean moved to Colorado Springs to teach for School District 11, where she met her husband Richard (Dick) Prud'homme. Married 57 years, Jean was a teacher and homemaker. She is survived by her husband Dick, son David and wife Kimberly, daughter Laurel, sister Donna Linden and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. No services are planned. To honor Jean, donations can be made to Canine Companions, Pikes Peak Hospice or a charity of your choice.

Knew the family when I student taught with Richard, Jean was lovely and gracious. My prayers to all, may she be at peace.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. She was a sweet lady and a wonderful neighbor to us kids when we were growing up. My deepest condolences to Dick, David and Laurel.
