Jeanene Gerstenkorn Obituary
Jeanene was born in Wichita, KS on February 14th, 1964. She graduated from Conway Springs High School. She continued her education at Brown Mackie College to obtain a Legal Transcription degree. She later attended Kansas Wesleyan University to obtain a Bachelors of Business Administration degree.
Jeanene worked as a Contract Specialist for US Army Contracting Command/Army Space and Missile Defense Command. She enjoyed reading, hiking, spontaneous adventures with family and friends as well as relaxing weekends in Estes Park, CO.
Jeanene is survived by her parents; Martha and Norbert Gerstenkorn, brother, Jamie, his wife, Debbie and daughter Emily Gerstenkorn of Waco, TX; sister, Julie Mauntel, her husband Mike, and son Colton Mason of Bartlesville, OK and other family and friends.
Jeanene is preceded in death by grandparents Ben and Rosalie Gerstenkorn, Gene and Winifred Hastings and Uncle Leon Gerstenkorn.
The funeral service will be held at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO on May 21st at 1:00 p.m.

Was saddened to hear of Jeanene's passing. We had a lot of wonderful times during grade and high school. Even though we had not been in contact for several years, she touched many lives along the way. May you find comfort knowing that she is at peace and know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Jeanene. In fact, I was just thinking about her last week wondering where she was and what she was doing. It's sad when we get so wrapped up with our daily lives and lose track of loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. God bless you all!
