Jeanetta Dugan Obituary

Jeanetta Lee Dugan was called home to her Lord and Saviour on May 20, 2015 in the early morning hours. Jeanetta was born in Colorado Springs on April 20, 1935 at Bethel Hospital now known as Memorial Hospital. She was proceeded in death by her father, Walter Doty and her mother, Ella Mae Provence. She is survived by her daughter, Donetta Morgan and her son, James R. Sluder (Linda). Her 4 grandchildren, Greg Morgan (Rani), Christopher Morgan, Amanda Morgan and Jennifer Burch; her 7 great-grandchildren, Aaron Daily, Abigayle Morgan, Andrew Morgan, Stacia Morgan, Samantha Morgan, Kaitlyn Burch and Cassidy Burch; her great great grandsons, Avery Morgan and Andras Morgan. She is also survivied by her best friend Roberta Martinez.

Jeanetta owned and operated Jeanetta's Beauty Nook in Widefield Colorado from 1969 tyo 2005. All of her clients quickly became her friends. She would also go to local nursing homes to make sure all of her ladies looked their best.

Jeanetta's family was her everything. Her love for her family knew no boundaries. She loved to decorate for all events and holidays. In the spring her yard was full of colorful flowers which she would use to make floral arrangements.

Jeanetta was lovingly known as Montnae. Her oldest grandson, Greg was not able to say grandma but he could say Montae. So for 40 plus years the young and old called her "Montae". She was most proud to be the "THE WORLD'S ONLY MONTAE".

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with funeral services on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. All services at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Highway 85/87, Fountain Colorado 80817
