Jeanne Haase Obituary
She was born on June 22, 1931. She grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated Colorado Springs High School in 1949. She married Lester Dale Haase from 1950-1978. After moving to Des Moines, WA in 1966, she worked for The Boeing Company for 28 years. She served 57 years in the Epsilon Sigma Alpha International charity organization and was Washington State President 1980-81.
Jeanne is survived by her children Sharon (Bruce) Pedersen of Woodinville, WA. Susan (Bob) Witte of Spokane, WA and Lester "Skip" Haase, of Seattle, WA. Grandchildren Bill (Danielle) Witte, Charlie Witte, Jennifer (Daniel) Hirst and J.D. Pedersen. Great Grandchild Hanna Paige Hirst. Jeanne is preceded in death by parents Blair and Hazel Miller, brothers Harold (Marie) Berggren and Harold Miller.
A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 7 at 1:00pm, at Grace Lutheran Church 22975 24th Ave S. Des Moines, WA. 98198.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org

I enjoyed travelling to ESA functions with Jeanne, and enjoyed her zest for life. I remember one time when we were in Palm Springs and visited a pet shop where they let us hold puppies. It was an emotional moment for us dog lovers.
