I still think of you, Jenny. Never forgotten.

We never got to meet Jenny. Coach Kevin was our daughter's coach for the first time this season. Based on our experience with you this season Coach Kevin and the love you pour into our girls I can only begin to imagine what a darling girl your Jen was. I wish we could have known her. I can't imagine how large the hole in your heart must be and mine aches for your entire family. I am praying for all of you during what must be a very difficult holiday season. What an amazing 17 years it must have been with such a beautiful girl inside and out.

Jenny was an amazing young lady. I was her 8th grade Language Arts teacher, and she was part of our "lunch bunch." We met to work on short stories. I have to say, that she was one of the most talented and promising young writers it has ever been my privilege to work with. She had a wicked sense of humor, and intelligence to match. We miss you Jenny. The world is a little less bright for your passing.

Jenny coached my daughter's youth soccer team and was a kind, loving person. She was so patient with the girls and she will be greatly missed. My heart aches for the family - you raised a terrific young lady. You are in our thoughts and prayers, and Jenny will always be in our hearts.

I'm in shock because I didn't even know this happened. Was on Pride site registering my kids and saw the post. Jenny was my daughter's coach last fall and Erin adored her. We all did! Jenny will be greatly missed!

Jenny, I didn't know her as well as I had hoped to. Our brothers are best friends and mine always said that she was really cool. Mine wanted us to hang out sometime and I was looking forward to it, it just never happened. From all the stories Matt told me about her I knew that she was a very nice and beautiful girl. My deepest sincerity goes out to the Shannnon family. Although I don't know the rest of your family as close as I do Matt, I want to say that Tyler and I are here for you! My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Jenny brought wonderful spirit and energy to our Toastmasters meetings that always brightened the mood of those around her. I feel fortunate to have known her even the short time that I did. I think it says something about her as a person that even those of us who knew her a short time will deeply miss her. May she rest in peace.

From everything I have read and seen about Jenny she was a beautiful and talented young lady--you have a blessing knowing that she touched many lives and helped so many. Dear Shannon Family, I was friends with Kevin growing up and spending time at the Goodwin household. I am so sorry for your loss. As I read about Jenny and see the photos, it appears that she's left an amazing legacy. Know that my thoughts are with you.

I watched Jenny grow up as Lauryn and I grew up together. She was beautiful and reminded me so much of her older sister. She was like a little sister to me and I miss her more than she could possibly imagine.

I am heartbroken to hear the news about Jenny. She was an amazing young woman. I was always in awe of her poise, maturity, charm, wit and intellect. Kevin, you and your family are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

I loved Jenny with all of my heart, like she was my own sister. She was a wonderful and amazing girl who I will never ever forget. Auntie Kate and uncle Kevin, I'm so so sorry for this loss and what you're going through. My prayers are with you. I love you all so so much, Shannon family.

I had the opportunity to coach Jenny for 3 years with the Pride Black 95 Panthers, I will always remember her for being such a great leader, strong, and one of the best team members anyone could ask for. She was the epitome of what any coach would ever want in a player, her passion and commitment to the team and to getting better as a soccer player was amazing. I will never forget her, she taught me a lot as a coach.

Although I never had the chance to meet Jenny; My family has been praying for your entire family from the moment we heard the sad news. Our son Jason Beck roomed with Matt last year and he thinks the world of him and his sister that he has become good friends with. Jason is devasted of this news and wants you to know that we are truly sorry; and will continue to support you in prayer.

We did not Jennifer long, but seeing the amazing amount of friends at her candlelight vigil Thursday night at Liberty High School spoke volumes of how many hearts this young girl touched and how many peoples' lives were impacted by her short life. The stories told by her friends showed a loving, caring, giving, joyful, outgoing young girl who thought of her friends first and it was obvious that all she met became her friends. She is someone who will be greatly missed. We new her briefly, but we will remember her forever. Our condolences and sympathies to all her family and many, many friends and hope the kindnesses she extended to all she met will be passed on in her memory.

Jenny was the first best friend I had in 6th grade at Discovery Canyon. She accepted me and introduced me to friends I still have today. She was always willing to talk to me and always had a great sense of humor. Herr writing was always amazing to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though we hadn't talked the last few years. I had always admired her as an artist ever since I met her and it helped me grow into the artist I am today. I owe her a lifetime of thanks and inspiration.

I enjoyed being Jenny's mentor at Toastmasters, and Chris always thought she was an incredibly talented speaker. It deeply saddens us both to hear of her loss; she will be greatly missed.
