JERROLD D. BROWN

Jerry was 100% Colorado native. Born 15-Nov.1957 in Glenwood Springs then raised in Colorado Springs by Marvin and Pat Brown, graduated Wasson High School 1975.
Jerry was the first graduating class of Ski Area Technology 1980 Colorado Mountain College in Leadville and went on to complete a Marketing BSBA at CSU Colorado Springs. He was a jack-of -all trades, oil roughneck and miner in his younger days and graphic artist, historian, and scenic byway planner. His last career position was visual information specialist at Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park Colorado. Jerry spent his final years at the family ranch (Rockin B) in Teller County. He passed peacefully 20-March-2023 surrounded by family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts.
Jerry was a loving father, survived by his mother, son and daughter Micah and Morgan, his brother Dan, nieces and nephews Derek, Travis, Karlie and Kirstie, and service dog Hundley

Jerry and I knew each other since the 7th grade. We reconnected in 2015 and became very close, he was like a brother to me. Donald and I will miss you, brother.

I´m typing from the sunny shore of Lake Estes, buffeted by the whitecap-building winds. with Jerry´s house up the hill behind me. Sometimes I´d stop to visit with Jerry on a run around the lake, and he´d tell me he´d been watching me across the water with his binoculars. That would put a lilt in my stride! We had a special place in each other´s hearts.

My family lived up the street on Downing Dr.
Jerry and I were the same age and my brother Wes was the same age as Dan. A lot of good memories. Jerry getting me to hold a large Bull snake when I was like 10. My thoughts are with you all. Sorry for your loss.

We grew up next´s tore to the Brown family. Jerry was my friend. We always liked each other. I think about you all from time to time and how nice Mrs. Brown was. Drove down Downing drive just a couple of years ago.Thought about you all. Jerry I´m sure will be greatly missed.God bless you and your family Laurie Hartman
