- [ ] 2 Timothy 4:7 - " I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Jerry Wayne Early (1944-2025)
With great sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Early on June 7, 2025 at his home in Penrose, Colorado, following a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 81 years.
Jerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother and is dearly missed.
Born in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, Jerry joined the Air Force and later studied electrical engineering at Louisiana Tech University. He was devoted to his career of 42 years in the electric utility industry and carried out his latter years as Superintendent.
Jerry loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and traveling, but above all, riding his horses was his greatest joy. He also had a deep interest in American and European history.
Preceding him in death are his parents Dean and Marie Early.
Jerry is survived by his wife Karina; his son Jerry (with Sarah); his stepson Thomas (with Christine); his brother Richard; his sisters Mary Nell, Beverly, Bobbye and Thresa, and five grandchildren.
He will be remembered with love and held forever in our hearts.
