I had kind of packed Jerry into my memory bank, to be recalled, fondly, from time to time. This legacy inquiry brought on a flood of emotions and sadness.
What a shame. He was such a great guy. And, seven years younger than I am, now, when he passed.
Again, he is greatly missed,

I have known Jerry for many years. We fist met when he worked for Nomura and met with the analysts and portfolio managers at the investment company where I worked. He was a great guy and will be very missed.

In 1978, this Delta Gamma at D.U. met the Freight Train while calling lines for the United Bank Tennis Classic. It was the beginning of a very special friendship of 37 years. We shared a love of Pioneer sports, singing, Anglican worship, military affiliation, the beauty of Colorado and California's beaches. My mug at the Bee was one of my favorite gifts and most recently was stored beside Jerry's, though his had been through a lot more (a metaphor for life).
I had no idea in June it was the last time I would see you, friend of all these years, but as always your big hug was unforgettable. I'm so glad you got to see the Pioneer Lacrosse championship win...
you were a champion too! Now you are finished running this earthly race, being carried in the arms of the Great Shepherd.
Until we meet again,
Joannie

Jerry was a terrific fellow, always warm and encouraging. We shared faith and age, though his Vietnam service was much more intense than mine. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, my warrior friend. I'll see you on the other side.

I knew Jerry through my employment and always enjoyed his calls and visits. He was quite the character. I will miss him.
