Gerold J. "Jerry" Schramek passed away November 25, 2018 in Fountain, Colorado. He was born March 22, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joseph and Esther Schramek.
Jerry served in the US Army and came to Colorado after being stationed at Fort Carson. He was a successful entrepreneurial business-man, overseeing several businesses in the Fountain area. He was hard-working, driven and committed to success. He enjoyed hunting, fishing at every opportunity and spending time outdoors.
He served for many years in his church community at New Life Church at the information desk, with the love of his life Georgia Lee. Jerry loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart. He and Georgia Lee hosted both summer BBQ's and Christmas dinners at their home spanning many many
years. Jerry is loved and admired by a host of family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Georgia Lee; his daughter Susan; sons Jerry, Terry and Kevin; grandchildren Brandon, Aaron, Dalton and Derek; great grandchildren Thomas, Maverick and Aurora; and by many other nieces, nephews and family members. He will be dearly missed by
all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 1, 10:00am-10:55am at New Life Church - World Prayer Center, 11025 Voyager Pkwy., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80921. Funeral service will
follow at 11:00am.

Father,
Seven (7) years, and now the entire Schramek Family is together with you, including mother. One of many memory photos' when Mother and I made a point to make you laugh! I stopped by a few days ago to visit you and mother, tears flowed, as your gravesite, along with mother's is still empty. I promise you, a dual headstone, for you and mother, will be in place shortly...

In remembering you today Jerry, I would like to tell you; since you've been gone, the days that have passed throughout this year have been difficult. But, my prayers for strength have led me to this day to say; I miss you dearly...my tears come and go. I will continue to love you...I will carry on. I look forward to seeing you once again. ...it's been a year since you passed, and time continued on. But, time couldn't erase your memory...Mother is missing you, and has left your hat and vest hanging by the door, just like you left it...Your clothes still hang in the closet, maybe one day they'll be given away to somebody who can use them...the alpacas, chickens, and little ShugShug continue to look for you as each day passes, and they probably think, "maybe tomorrow..." perhaps, one day the pain will lessen, the hurt subside, and the 'missing you' will ease...but, not today... no, not today.
