JILL ZAK Obituary

GENEVA - Jill Zak, nee Rigg, age 46, died Wednesday January 23, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 15, 1967 in Hammond, Indiana. Jill grew up in Munster, Indiana and graduated from Munster High School in 1986. She attended The University of Illinois. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and the Gymnastic Team. After graduating from the University of Illinois, she became a Flight Attendant with American Airlines from 1992 to 2011. She was a member of Christ Community Church participating in the Women's Wednesday morning Bible Study and serving in the Genesis Middle School Program. Jill loved to cook, travel and especially loved her family. She had an infectious laugh as everyone close to her knew. She is survived by her husband Mike of twenty years. Two sons, Cameron and Clayton. Her father, Robert Rigg of Munster, Indiana. One sister, Tracy (Roger) Sautter of Scottsdale, AZ. One brother, Bob (Kara) Rigg of Dyer, Ind. Also her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Royce Zak and loving sister-in-law, Tracy Zak. She was preceded in death by her mother, Veronica Rigg. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday January 26, 2014 at Christ Community Church St. Charles. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7:00 Sunday at the Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Route 38), Geneva.
