Our brother Jim, 54, went into the arms of Our Lord on March 15, 2011 after a fall in North Cheyenne Canyon. Jim was an auto mechanic/machinist for Lee's Automotive. Our brother John, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on October 16, 2007 after suffering complications from diabetes when he was 49. John was a trim carpenter, and worked for Safe Place, a foster placement for dogs. Both boys became juvenile onset Type 1 diabetics 40 years before their death. They were preceded in death by their parents, Fon and Helen Hitchcock. They are survived by 5 sisters Rose Mary Hitchcock, Rita Kitzmiller (Kent), Kathy Brown (Dan), Patty Hitchcock, Linda Hitchcock-Cochran and one brother Tom Hitchcock (Ruth), nieces, nephews, one Aunt and Uncle, Maxine and Don Green, and cousins. Services for both boys will be April 2, 2011 at 2:00pm at Springs First Church of the Nazarene, 4120 E. Fountain Blvd. The service will be officiated by John Brantley, M.D. and Pastor Jerry Street of Springs First Church of the Nazarene. Donations may be made to Mission Medical Clinic, 2125 E. LaSalle St, Colo. Sprgs. 80909.

Jim and John, two of the coolest cousins anyone could ever have! I love you two and I know where you are. Save a place for me! Save some grace for me. I'll be there soon. To all the other cousins, I love you guys too and I am here if you need me. Please, just call me!
