Mrs. Maddox and family we are so sorry for your lost. Our first meeting at Gorman Auctions was a little scary and you (Mrs. Maddox) quickly got him to the hospital...but as you came back to auctions Mr. Maddox and you, Mrs. Maddox shared with us your sweet Spirit. As I read your children's comments I realize that sweet spirit has blessed your family. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you continue your own journeys. We fill very blessed for the time we got to spend with Mr. Maddox. God Bless you all.

Dad,

Hopefully I can express here what my emotions failed to let me express at your funeral. It is still so difficult to comprehend that the day has actually arrived where I cannot speak to you in person, though I know you are listening. You taught me how to throw to a baseball, and how to catch a fish. You taught me about my family and where I came from but what is truly important to me is what I learned from you that was never taught. I learned how to become the man that I wanted to be. I learned the work ethic and what it takes to support a family, and how to be there for Lindsey, Isaac and Lincoln. To be the pillar of strength they need, and to have them know that I will always be there for them no matter what, the same way you always were for me. Although our family is hurting, know that we will forever carry a piece of you within all of us, that although you are gone you will always be here, and the things that I learned watching you for 31 years will carry me forward until I can see you again. I know you are in a better place, a place where new gadgets always work the way they are supposed to, where all the computer keyboards are limeaide proof, and where you can watch your children and grandchildren laugh and love and grow, knowing that without you none of it would have been possible. You were a man of few words, and to sum it up as succinctly as you would, I love you Dad and I miss you.

your son,
Bubba

Dad,
I Love you always and you will always be in my heart. Thanks for sharing your time with me on Planet Earth. If you hurry you might be able to get onboard the Starship Enterprise With Leonard Nemoy for that ultimate journey into the final frontier. I hear he is waiting for you.

Love
Michael

Dad, I never believed that you could die, I never thought this day would come. The last part of your life was hard, but you handled it with dignity and strength, and I am glad that you'll never have to hurt again. I am so thankful that you were a part of our lives everyday for so long, and I want you to know that your work here is done. You've left your mark on all of us, and we are be better for having known you. Your passing adds to God's glory, and we know you will be with us always.

My dear brother. I know where you are today and I know you are free of pain and suffering. I know you have seen Jesus by now and our sweet mother who loved you dearly. Her first-born son! Wish we had talked more on this earth but I will always remember the last phone conversation we had on your birthday. I will see you again and we will have that family reunion in heaven.
