Patti,
I will not be the one to say "I know how you feel," but I will say it is okay to feel that way. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your father as you go through this great loss. No one is really prepared for the day that we think we are prepared for. I am here for you.

Much Love,
Portia

I have so many fond memories of Joan during her visits to San Diego. She was like a second mother. In fact my mother also sold Avon. She always told me great adventurous stories and always gave great sound advice. I remember her always being so brave - going to her high school reunion all alone just a few years ago - overcoming a lot of hurdles in life that many of us will never have to face. I would like to extend mine and my son, Jonas', sincerest sympathy to the family at this time and always and be proud that you had a sister, wife, mother that held 'classy lady' to the highest standard.
