There are no words to express my sorrow to learn of Joan's passing. She was compassionate, funny, and genuine - a dear friend, an amazing CFI, and a fierce defender of children. Joan loved her family deeply and her devotion to each member inspired many, including myself. May her family find comfort through God's grace and in the many happy memories.

Joan was one of the most incredible people I've ever met. I had the privilege of being married to her for 32 years. The world will miss her.
