Joan Pennington Obituary

Roger, Mike, John, Mark, Paul and families; Joanie was such a wonderful cousin and sister in faith. I will always remember how thrilled she was when I became Catholic. She was super supportive. I will miss her smile and kind ways. You and her are in my prayers.

My daughter and I met Roger and Joan at Grant Elementary School, and Holy Trinity. She was a beautiful, kind woman who was always smiling. My daughter became very close to the two of them. Rest in peace sweet Joan.

Pennington Family: We were so very sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She was truly one of the sweetest people we knew. May God be with you all through this terribly difficult time.

Joan was/is a saint. Her devotion to Holy Trinity was never ending. I will miss you and your beautiful smile. May you Rest In Peace with our loving God

Over the years that I knew Joan, it was obvious that she rejoiced in the time she spent with her family. Her devotion to Holy Trinity Parish can be measured by the countless hours she spent there; be it, religious education, daily mass, or ensuring that its flower garden was well maintained, which is what one first witnesses when entering by way of the east door. Throughout it all, she remained compassionate during these often hectic times, always with a contagious smile and even made some time to visit with a friend.

Such a sweet woman with a beautiful smile. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.
