Joe Gonzales Obituary

Joe Albert Gonzales was born on January 8, 1950 to the union of Albertino E. Gonzales and Elouisa Maria Gonzales in Colorado Springs, Colorado. "Joe" as he was affectionately called attended grade school in the Springs and graduated high school at George Washington High School in Denver, Colorado.

Joe went on to become a truck driver in Colorado Springs for a number of years and then a Cook on Fort Carson Army Base and it was in this position that he had found his calling as he would say. Because his father was a career service man he was more than proud to be working in some capacity with and for the soldiers.

Joe was preceded in death by his loving mother and his devoted father as well as a brother Alex Gonzales.

Joe leaves to cherish his memories his daughters; Doreen Gonzales Kuper of San Diego California, Nadine Gonzales Castellanos of San Diego, California, and Whitley Maria Gonzales of Los Angeles, California. Also an adopted sister and diligent family friend for over forty years Louise, of whom cared for Joe's mother until her passing as well as her children Sherry Martinez, Vince Martinez and Victor Martinez.

Joe also leaves to mourn three grandchildren; Jayar Kuper, Kandice Gonzales, Ricky Kuper, Samantha Castellanos and Andres Ifunza, and two great-grandchildren; Tori Ragancik and John Ragancik all of San Diego, California.

Throughout his life he was a father to many and an uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
