Joe Bernard Lovell

Joe Lovell, husband of Gretchen Zickefoose and father of Teresa Greenbaum and Tom Lovell, passed away last week at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, the same hospital where he was born 83 years earlier.
A long-time resident of Colorado Springs, Joe was a retired Lt. Col. in the US Air Force, a former college professor of business and management, and enjoyed a long retirement where he spent time in various parts of the country.
He is survived by his wife, children, their spouses Jeff Robin and Lisa Wolfe, their mother Penny Lovell, and four beloved grandchildren--Daniel Greenbaum, Michelle Greenbaum, Eva Lovell, and Owen Lovell.
