Carol and family
The times we enjoyed with you two were fun and special. Joe's handiwork in hooking up the watering system for your yard and in all the other projects you two accomplished was very impressive.
It was a joy to watch Gerald's face light up when Joe called. There was always laughter and good natured teasing. We were broken hearted when we learned of Joe's illness. He endured as only a man of great strength would. Our empathy goes out to you and your family as does our prayers.

I will always remember Joe for his lightning-quick wit and his sense of humor. Usually, by the time you discovered that you were "being had" - it was too late! He will be truly missed.
Our best to Carol and family.

"My Pal Joey" as Brent would say to Joe when ever he talked to him. We will miss him so very much at our family dinners drinking his hot speciality(foreign) beer and his sense of humor and dry jokes..(ha ha) We truly lost a very good friend and brother-in-law. Joe put up a gallant fight and remained very positive throughout his long battle. We love you Joe and you will never be forgotten. We love you sister Carol and family. You and your family will will always remain in our hearts and our thoughts Love, Brent and Sandy

Uncle Joe was a unique man. So many good childhood memories include Joe & Carol & their family. From taking old Twinkle Toes out in the red cart on the lanes to watching Joe and my other uncles in their hot pepper eating contest!! He maintained that famous humor even throughout these past years. know that he loved his family a lot. I'll miss him - much love & prayers to Carol, Robyn and her kids, & Darin.

Joe was the friend you longed to have: a craftsman with his hands and heart, both doing and giving generously. He laughed heartily consuming the goodness of life, all the while serving up the best of himself in loyal dedication to his family and friends. He worked to make time for us all even in his "painful days" of illness, never wanting to disappoint.
We are humbled to have seen his strength and courage during his many months of treatment and will forever be in awe of his warrior spirit to the end. We have been blessed with the ultimate gift of friendship with Joe and Carol and the many days of joyful fellowship and travel. Our memories and God's promise of eternal life now grant us everlasting peace. We love you Joe-Bill.

Joe was a gentle soul who was an insperation to all of us who knew him. One bit of advice that he gave me was to take time away from work. He said that you needed to actually take a lunch break everyday even if it was to just go and sit in a park somewhere for a few minutes. Joe had a healthy balance between his work and personal life. Our lives may seem a little less with his passing but we do have the hope of seeing him again. God Bless.

Joe became a great friend and Inspiration which I will miss forever. Joe had a great love of life, was always ready to lend a helping hand and don't leave out a prankster. He and Carol were there to help when I was in need and I only hope I can be their for Carol.
In loving memory of a wonderful person.

I'll never forget the day Joe Bill let me take a paint marker and draw a smiley face on the back of his bald head. I was having a bad day and I think he let me do it to make me smile. For the rest of the day he showed everyone his "alter ego"!! No one in the world knows how to win a water gun fight quiet like my friend, even if he stole all of the water grenades when Ashley and I weren't looking!! I think we probably all could have lost our jobs that day but boy did we have fun!! I'm glad I have those memories to turn to. What an amazing man! My thoughts are with your family!
