Joe Perea Obituary

Joe Vidal Perea, age 74, passed away on August 15, 2009 in Colorado Springs. He was born on April 21, 1935 in Cerro, New Mexico to Filomena Gallegos. Joe is survived by his is two loving daughters, DeeAnn Salazar and Loretta Perea; two sons, Hubert (Emma Barela) Perea and Ruben Perea from Pueblo, Colorado; five sisters, Della (Sam) Gomez, Laura (Eliseo) Rael, Theresa (Steve) Segura, Betty Vigil and Angela Vigil; and brother, Henry Vigil from Cerro, New Mexico; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Filomena Gallegos; two brothers, Eddie and Jose Perea and a sister, Virginia Salazar. Joe was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend to all who knew him in his Duplex. He loved his family and had a passion for watching wrestling and boxing. He will truly be missed by all. Visitation is set from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with a Rosary to follow, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Evergreen Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
