Joel Penny Obituary
Joel was born July 1st, 1975 in Rock Island, IL to Michael and Patricia (McGarry) Penny. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1979. He married Diedra Rodgers April 27th, 2012 in Shell Knob, Missouri and relocated to California in 2013.
Joel is survived by his wife, Diedra and two children, Seven and Sterling of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; mother, Patricia Penny (Colorado Springs, CO); father, Michael Penny (Tucson, AZ); brother, Jeffrey Penny (Grimes, IA); sister Leighann (Penny) Jock (Colorado Springs, CO); sister, Krista Penny (Tucson, AZ); and grandmother, Mary Ellen Penny (Rock Island, IL).
A trust has been established for Joel's children through Integrity Bank, Colorado Springs. Private interment: Stone Funeral Home Upland, CA.

Words cannot express the sympathy this brings. I am so sad to hear that Joel has passed. We will keep the Penny families in our prayers. I only got to know Joel as a child. He was always so fun to be with. I was only involved with the family for a short while in my life, but I cared for Michaels children and his parents and family. So sorry for your loss. Wishing your families strength in the days ahead.
