Joey Isaac Tafoya was born to Bobby Tafoya (his father) and Latisha Blea (his mother) on March 11, 1998. Joey was taken home to be with the Lord July 15, 2023 and passed away at the age of 25. Joey leaves behind his dad Bobby Tafoya and Mom Latisha Blea. Joey had a handful of siblings that looked up to him Jordan, Jesse, Lorenzo, and Lilyana. As well as six other siblings from his mom side. And an army of family and friends, that loved him dearly. Joey passed away doing what he loved most, fishing with his dad. Joey joined the U.S. Navy and served our country for 4 years. He was a hard worker, a jack of all trades you could say. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, but enjoyed his alone time too, playing video games till the wee hours of the morning with his friends. He loved the outdoors. He loved camping. And he was also a huge Bronco fan. He was a great dad to his dog Max, and overall just filled with love. He touched many hearts of many lives. He had an unforgettable smile and a beautiful soul, Joey we will keep your memory alive. Forever young.

It was always me and you growing up.. even with our 5 other siblings we were still always the big brother sister duo trying to watch over them lol. I´ll continue watching over them down here.. I´m grateful to have at least experienced 23 years of life with an older brother. Long live you forever and always. I know you´ll always be watching over us up there

It's really hard to believe your gone. I remember the day you came back from the navy. Bobby and K.O was so happy. You were a great person. Miss u bud Rest in paradise!!
