I miss Grandpa, but so thankful for the legacy he left and that we got to spend the last 3 years in Colorado Springs so the kids got to spend time with their Great Grandpa...and he was a really Great Grandpa. The Academy exit on southbound I-25 coming from Denver isn't an automatic exit anymore with Grandpa/Grandma gone. I know they're together and pain free. I'm thankful for his 20 year AF career as it had an influence in me doing the same. I remember him always wearing a hat outside and never wearing a hat inside as a result of that and still think about that when going in and out either in uniform our out. He was a great man who left a great legacy. Love you, Grandpa.

Our prayers and hearts are with your family! It's times like this that the miles really make us feel a world away. Wish we could be there to help support you in celebrating Uncle Johnny's life. He was a wonderful Uncle that I'm proud to say is "family".
