John Cobb Roberts Obituary

John Cobb Roberts was born in Chicago Illinois. He was loved and raised in Denver, Colorado along with his sister Judy Roberts, by their adoptive parents John and Helen Roberts. John met and married Irene Hill and they raised two children, Christy and Kenneth in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

John is a "One of a Kind" father. He taught his children his love of the outdoors by teaching them camping, fishing, hunting and skeet shooting. John took his family on numerous trips around the United States including Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.

John met his second wife, Joyce McGinnis on the ski slopes of Crested Butte, Colorado. They married October 7, 1996. John continued to enjoy his love of the outdoors with Joyce at his side. They took scuba diving trips around the world, took several cruises, and went camping and fishing from Colorado to Alaska.

John was also a professional photographer and captured his love of the outdoors and underwater on film. He sold some of his work locally. John took several photography classes to enhance his knowledge of photography and produced many beautiful works of art.

John started his career as a tv repairman, then became an agent for Prudential Insurance where he retired from. John never met a stranger or anyone who he disliked. He was loved by everyone he met and had many friends from all his different interests in life.

John is survived by his wife Joyce and his two children, Christy and Kenneth and their spouses (Carlos)(Trudy), Joyce's two children Tom and his spouse (Karen) Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jody and her spouse (Doug) of Alaska and his sister, Judy Soby of California.

He was preceded in death by John Cobb Sr. and Helen (Barker) Roberts.

John will be missed by every life he touched and never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
