John Crawford, Jr. Obituary
Born October 21, 1956 in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late John Phillip Crawford, Sr. and Susan (Sorge) Crawford.
Mr. Crawford was self-employed having worked in the construction business. John was an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf and attend sporting events. Over the years he coached many of his sons sports teams. His hobbies were anything to do with his kids and grandkids. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. His greatest joy in life was his three boys.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Tina (Harrell) Crawford; his sons, John Phillip Crawford, III of Middlebrook, Joseph Paul Crawford and wife, Amber of Middlebrook and Jeffrey Patton Crawford of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Jaden Kern, Jack Crawford, J.P Crawford and Benny Crawford; sisters, Jackie Crawford and husband, Colyer Williams of Middlebrook and Linda Manning and husband, Dean of Quarryville, PA; mother-in-law, Betty Harrell of Quarryville, PA. The family would like to give a special thank you to Frank Viola, Frank Sorge, Jim and Molly Toth and Dean and Laura Manning.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Fifth Street United Brethren Church with Pastor Harry Moore officiating.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Tina & Family - I just found out about John's passing. My heart & prayers go out to you, the boys, Linda & Jackie. John never returned my phone call so I had no idea what was going on. I seldom see Linda & I haven't see Jackie in years. If you ever want to talk I am on Facebook Cindy Radesky. Take care. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

So sad to hear of John's passing . He was a classmate of me and my sister at Solanco high school.. He was a great guy and will surely be missed by many.. God Bless him and his family.

So sorry to hear of your loss! I have fond memories of you John and the boys when I worked @ Crawford's Drywall In Quarryville. He was an ornery man that would do anything for you. I always appreciated his kindness and business abilites. May God give you the peace and strength to get through this trying time. May great memories carry you through it all. Knowing that Johnny is walking with God's Angels now is a soothing thought. He knows no pain, no suffering, just peace. He never met a stranger...The first time we met him it was like meeting an old friend, he was one of a kind and he will be missed by many. He is not gone.. He has become your Guardian Angel...watching over you until you join him. May you find comfort in all the great memories you shared. We are here for you all.

Tina, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I don't know if you remember me, but we used to work together at the Home in Quarryville, years ago.
