John Dzuricky Obituary
John A. Dzuricky, age 59, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Erie on November 29, 1954, a son of John M. Dzuricky and the late Theresa M. (Adamczyk) Dzuricky.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gannon University, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked at Penelec as an electrical engineer since 1985.
John was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church. He was a member of the Slovak National Club and a former member of the Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an adventurer of sorts, camping, hunting and kayaking. He once kayaked from French Creek to the Gulf of Mexico.
John was preceded in death by his mother and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his father, his loving wife of 29 years, Judith "Judie" (Holowell) Druzicky, his beloved daughter Sarah Marie Dzuricky, two sisters, Katherine Ditrich, husband Paul of North East and Elizabeth "Beth" Dzuricky of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three brothers, Joseph Dzuricky of Erie, Michael, wife Kathie Dzuricky of Millcreek, and Rick Dzuricky, good friend Debbie Lacny of Millcreek; an uncle, Al Adamczyk and two aunts, Ann Adamczyk and Marie Dzuricky. John is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street. Services will be held there on Thursday at 10:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m., at Holy Family Church. Burial will be private.

My deepest sympathy to John's family. In the course of the years, very rarely do we come across someone who "IS" a TRUE AND HONORABLE human being...that was John! It was a privilege to have known him. He will sorely be missed, but knowing he is with the Lord is a consolation. May the strength of the Lord be with your family at this time and the future.
