John Fogg Obituary
He as was born in Formosa China to John Kain Fogg and Barbara Joan Fogg (Stroh).
John is survived by his brother Tom Fogg, his wife Joyce, and their 3 children, Brian Fogg, Kristen Knudtson and Keri Latta, along with 2 grandchildren.
Also his sister Bobbi Brown, her husband Craig and their 2 children Jamie Betro and Corey Brown, along with 3 grandchildren.
John started working for a family friend as an auto body repair tech during his High School Years in Ocean City New Jersey. It was this experience that made him realize where his career needed to go. In 1980 John opened Fogg's Auto Body Shop in Colorado Springs specializing in Porsches. Through a lot of blood, sweat and tears he managed to continuously run his business up until the last day of his life.
When John was 11 years old he received a Fender electric guitar for Christmas which was the catalyst of his life-long interest in music. He started out playing Rock and Roll and progressed into acoustic Blue Grass styles of music which he enjoyed with many friends that shared this passion.
While John was an avid skier, his true love was rock climbing which he would do with close friends whenever time and weather permitted.
John always had a dog by his side, his last with the name of Beau. John and Beau went through many weeks/months of intense training to be certified with hospice which allowed them to spend time with, and bring happiness to those terminally ill.
John was an extremely generous person with a heart of gold and an enchanting personality that wouldn't quit. He could make anyone laugh no matter what story he was telling.
John's presence will be missed by so many.

Over the course of 15 years, John lovingly restored 4 of my old Porsches, turning neglected, worn down cars that few people wanted into works of art, beautiful cars that would take you back to the `70s and that people around the world contacted me to buy. Luckily, our arrangement required that he work on them on his schedule, so that he could take his time and get everything right. The cars speak for themselves, and I got more time to know him. John was a big part of the enjoyment I got from the cars, and when I learned of his untimely passing, the cars meant a lot less to me. The cars and John are inseparable in my wonderful memories that will stay with me forever.

I will never forget the time John and I were climbing and after changing into his shorts, the wind picked up his pants and they flew away. We were still laughing about that the week before he died. A good, kind friend has been lost.

I send to you my deepest sympathy and care to your family. Mr. Fogg was a wonderful man to know. I loved bringing my red Audi down from Denver, Co for he and his team to work on the car.
