John Garcia Obituary

John Garcia, 29, passed away on October 8, 2011. John was born on September 25, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois and has called Colorado Springs his home for over 25 years. Affectionately called "Johnny", he has taken many walks in life and has taken on many professions and performed well. His interests were art, music, rock climbing, hiking, playing his guitar, and being with friends. He was a passionate, opinionated man with strong devotions to his individual integrity. A family member and friend that will always be remembered for his strengths in personality, conviction, a great sense of humor, and a strong sense of himself. A man that became family to everyone he encountered. John is survived and sincerely missed by his mother, Sharon Carrasquillo, his sister, Theresa Garcia, and his uncle, Victor Carrisquillo, all residing in Colorado Springs. He is also missed by his father, Mario Garcia, grandfather,Juan Garcia-Mancheca, his grandmother, Margarita Rosales DeGarcia, and many loved friends. Johnny, you will sincerely be missed. Private memorial service will be held for family and friends at his parents home.

I miss ya buddy! First met Johnny back when he had Dreds.... I think he was 17 or 16. We partied, knew a lot of the same people. I miss him. I tried to help at the end up here in Denver.... TOO YOUNG... I think of him often still.

Johnny was my employee for a time, and I remember going back to the company and finding out where he was and begging him to come back to work for me, he was the best employee I ever had, and a very good friend as well, I was very sad Johnny when Randy told me of your passing, but your pain is gone and you are now at peace.
