John Houghton Obituary

December 12, 1932- September 21, 2008 John A. Houghton was born on December 12, 1921 in Longton, KS and passed away on September 21, 2008 in Colorado Springs, CO. John was a retired rancher and a longtime Colorado Springs resident. John is survived by his wife of 52 years Norma Houghton, sons Norman "Guy" Houghton, Charles Houghton, daughters Theresa Macklin, Lela Womble, Melba Lavato. 26 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren. John is preceded in death by a son Lysle T. Houghton. Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Ellicott Open Door Church, 1258 N. Log Road.
