Sissy and Cheryl, so sorry for your loss of a husband and dad. It's our loss as well being that he was my uncle. I wasn't able to spend much time getting to know him because the distance of being so far away. I do remember his beautiful smile and a loving way he had toward others. He will be dearly missed. Uncle John was a good, good man. He had a very warm and generous personality and never met a stranger and never held back when someone needed a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by me and many, many others. God bless Sissy, Cheryl and their families...you are in my prayers.

To the Hurt Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Johnny would often come next door where we would sit in lawn chairs, sip ice tea and tell tall tales and have a few laughs. John was the nicest person and a wonderful neighbor. He will be missed. God Bless!
